Leightononthelens - Waveforms

What do you see in the symmetry?

Waveforms is a procedural photographic art collection.

500 photos were taken along the beautiful WA South West coastline from Dunsborough to Margaret River. They were then cropped, edited and assembled in Photoshop using a custom action which automatically cuts and symmetrically arranges the
original image into a pixel-perfect digital artform.

In the process, a number of images were culled to produce a total quantity of 420 unique Waveforms. Each piece contains their own symmetrical anomalies. Feedback I've had from friends and family has been amazing as everybody seems to find different things in the art. Anything from Animal faces, Animal Skulls, Samurai Masks, Spiders, Vortexes, Temple Entrances, Ancient Temple Figures and Ancient Warriors.... But i'll leave that to the viewer to find.

So I invite you to look at each one carefully, and let me know
"what do you see in the symmetry?"

"The more I look, the more I can see"
"Unlocking art within the photographic medium"
"Its like a gateway to another world"
"I see people, places and faces"

"Each piece tells a story. It's like something has been captured eternally"
